Off, Important or All

Set it under Target bands & alerts → Anomaly alerts on the sensor page. The level applies to you only; it does not change what people you shared the sensor with receive.

LevelWhat you get
OffNothing for this sensor, not even critical incidents.
Important Default. New incidents that need action, from Warning upwards, and when an incident gets worse.
All Also informational incidents, recoveries and new AI analyses. These are bundled.

An incident “needs action” when a target or guideline is broken, or the device reports a problem. A value that is only statistically unusual is informational and only reaches you on All.

How HydroNode keeps alerts useful

One alert per change
A problem that keeps going does not alert again. You hear about it when it starts and when it gets worse.
30-minute pause
At least 30 minutes between two alerts about the same incident. Getting worse skips the pause.
Bundled info
Informational alerts of one sensor within 15 minutes become one message. At most 8 per sensor and 24 in total per day.
Suspicions stay quiet
A jump that the next reading does not confirm never alerts.
Important alerts are never held back by the daily limit or by bundling.

Offline sensors and email

Alerts about a sensor going quiet are set separately, per stage, in Sensor Settings → Monitoring. See Sensor Monitoring.

Emails (monitoring alerts and the weekly report) each carry a link to turn them off, without signing in. Before sending, HydroNode checks again that you still have access to the sensor, so a removed share stops alerts at once.
